Both creatures, large and small began to follow me. "Little one, you aren't needed any longer." I knew I was being rude but I had to hurry back. Clambering on the large creature's back I began directing it urgently, eager to get back in time. My sight was beginning to blur and I began to have trouble breathing. I was fidgeting and wriggling in my seat but no spot seemed comfortable, and I felt so very, very hot. My body was going numb and rigid and I could barely move my limbs but I still attempted to move a clawed hand in the direction I thought I needed to go. The pain in my hands and feet began shooting up my arms and legs, like electricity was coursing through them. I cried out in terror and collapsed onto the creatures back, tears streaming down my cheeks as my body began to curl up. My sight began melting away but I managed to focus enough see a large silhouette come to me as the light faded.
