My first memory was of gaining conciousness. Where was I? What was I doing here? Who was I? I looked around for some form of a trigger, some way to regain my memory, but there was nothing. I was just floating in the middle of nowhere...

~~~~~~~~~~
I had to get out of there and fast. I didn't know why, but something in my fractured memory seemed to be telling me that I couldn't afford to stay, not if I wanted to live. After some difficulty, I managed to wrench the door open. My feet hit the floor and suddenly the feeling of weightlessness was gone. Without a moment's break, I begun a mad dash to get out...
~~~~~~~~~~~

I blinked back the tears as I listened, trying to ignore the fact my foot had gone to sleep, fearful that one movement would give me away. All these terrible horrible nightmares I had been having; they were all real!
Just some random scenes from a random story... So, what do you guys think?

Interesting and intriguing. I love how while they're just random story parts and there's not much to tell from just looking at it, you still get a peek into the personality of the character, as well as the personality and part of the setting of the story. While they are only random parts and don't need to be in depth, you've given us enough to read to be intrigued and interested. I've seen what you can write and how it all comes together and so, while it's not complete, I can get a feel for how the story will come together, and that is what I will be waiting for. I want to read what's going on between the gaps and can't wait to get the chance to do so.

While I've read something sort of like this, you keep it original, you give us a view into what might turn (and most probably will) turn into a great story. You're technique has improved a lot from when I first started helping you, even in these little snippets.

Keep up the good work!
